Principal and staff profiles
Welcome from our Principal
Ms Vicky Ireland, School Principal
As the Principal of Nuriootpa Primary School, I’d like to welcome you to our friendly school community. At NPS we all work together to make sure our school is as supportive of student learning and development as possible.
Leading NPS, and working with the wider school community, is a most enjoyable job. To be in daily contact with children of all year levels is a pleasure and there is never a day without an interesting conversation and/or a laugh with students.
I’m passionate about two things:
- Ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn and grow
- Supporting teachers to build their capacity to be the best they can be
If you are already a member of our flourishing school community then I encourage you to keep the lines of communication open between yourself and school, and if you are interested in becoming a part of our adventure then don’t hesitate to get in touch for a chat and/or school tour!
“at the end of the day, at the end of the week, at the end of my life, I want to say I contributed more than I criticised” Brene Brown
